Track record

Frings Austria GmbH is a traditional producer of high-performance plants and components for the fermentation industry.

The company was founded in 1987 as a sales organisation of the German Heinrich Frings GmbH & Co. KG group for the purpose of market development in Eastern Europe. In 1995 Frings Austria’s operation spectrum was extended by the yeast activities of Andritz AG and the company’s headquarters were moved from Vienna to Graz. By taking over the 250 year old German company Becker in 1999, Frings Austria confirmed its position in the biotechnical sector.

With a strong presence in the target markets of yeast and alcohol production throughout the world, Frings Austria has developed privileged links with a selective provider network.
